Bobcats, Grizzlies Rebuilding Their Team

The first day of the NCAA spring signing period came in with a bang with many NCAA teams making significant progress by signing new players.

On Wednesday, the Bobcats moved a step closer to making their team a formidable force next season by acquiring four junior college transfers. At the same time, the Grizzlies also made significance gains in rebuilding their team by picking up two new men’s basketball players.

The Bobcats, who are currently being coached by Brian Fish, had signed four new players in fall and are keen on rebuilding their team. That said the number of signings that the Bobcats have made till now is 8 including the four recent signings which they made in the first day of the NCAA signing period.

The Grizzlies who are under Coach Travis DeCuire signed to their roaster a JC transfer and a high school player who has made his name in the game while playing for his high school team.

Just like Bobcats, the Grizzlies also made some signings in fall. DeCuire signed two other standout players including Jared Samuelson who played for Billings West.

The players who were signed by Grizzlies in the first day of the signing period are Bobby Moorehead who played for Stadium High in Tacoma, Wash and Snow College’s Walter Wright.

Grizzlies coach DeCuire praised Moorehead for his work stating that, “He’s (Moorehead), not just a shooter, but he can also put the ball on the floor.” He added that, “He’s got the good length and finishes around the basket. He scored a lot of points in a very strong league.”
